I'm often asked the question, "How often am I supposed to reapply sunscreen?" or "Do I need a sunscreen if my make-up already has it in there?"
Every 2 hours, especially if you are planning on being out in the sun A LOT. The car & a sunny office DO COUNT!! Being surrounded by many windows will expose you to harmful rays. For incidental sun exposure (walking to and from work or the store in a parking lot, etc.) apply your sunscreen in the morning and then follow-up with another re-application later in the day.
If you're make-up or moisturizer already has a sunscreen you still might need to add extra protection! If you are taking the dog for a quick walk, you'll be just fine. However, if you're doing something more active you could cause your SPF moisturizer to melt! Doubling up with an extra layer of sunscreen under your make-up will give you extra protection that you are less likely to sweat off!
In regards to SPF, I have a better safe than sorry mantra. Wear it religiously and reapply often. 10 years from now you'll be thanking me! :)
